Becoming a Card Maker

This weekend I tried my hand at some card making.

I put cardstock on the inside and outside of the card, glued ribbon by the top fold, and put a dimensional stickers on top. I like how they turned out but want to keep practicing. Do you have any card making tips for a rookie?
