In a word: Disappointing. I read excerpts of The World is Flat in my International Political Science class a few years ago and thought it was great, but clearly, I just read the highlights. It's interesting but way too wordy. Cut to the chase, buddy! I believe you! I know the world is flat! Don't give me every e-mail you've ever received proving the point!It's also a little dated. It was probably revolutionary at the time (I read the updated 2007 version), but nowadays everyone knows outsourcing to China is cheap and social media is a big deal.
