This just in:
My stomach doesn't like gluten. I'm going gluten-free for the next little while, and if the
pain goes away, I continue. If it doesn't, bring on the pizza. If you have any good gluten-free recipes, please share!!! If all I have to do to feel better is avoid
some a lot of things, BRING IT ON!
I'm having the same problems right now... there is a suspicion that I may be allergic to: gluten, dairy, yeast??, grass, weeds, trees, Lactic Acid (good excuse to NOT work out? I think so), add issues with the hormones progesterone, prolactin, and secretin to the mix and you've got a lovely load of problems to fix/things to avoid. :)
ReplyDeletegood luck Julie, I hope it works for you!

ReplyDeleteWow! I feel for you. When I came home sick from my mission I had to go off gluten for 4 months. It was so hard. I lived off Bush's baked beans and constantly craved bagels. It's tricky because even though I found out later that I didn't have celiac disease, I actually felt better for a while. You might want to prepare for that. Gluten affects everyone differently and for me my body felt so much better without all those carbs loading it down. So for a while I thought we had found an answer... turns out it was my gall bladder all along. Have they done a scoping of your stomach with a camera and everything? That should tell your doctor if it's gluten or not. I'm sure you've had a lot of tests. I totally empathize. Good luck! Oh and there is a really good gluten free blueberry pancake mix out there. If I come across the name of it again, I'll send it your way.
