P.S. There are a LOT of food ads at night. Pizza, burgers, fried chicken, mmmm, looks so good, but I'm really trying, because by George, it's nice not to hurt. And, thank you Dill Pickle for telling me about Pier 49 having gluten-free pizza! We get a pizza every Friday night, and it's kind of delicious, and now we can keep the tradition! I was also referred to several gluten-free websites. THANK YOU! If you have any more sites or tips, please let me know!

no problem! I'm a food science major and i know that the food industry is working hard at making a lot of products gluten free. I have a friend that developed a gluten free cake for general mills. it's under the betty crocker label. I hear that it tastes pretty good.

ReplyDeleteall of her recipes are gluten free
I know rice chex is gluten free and you can do all sorts of things with it. Once I had some chex crispie treats and I thought they were better than the real thing! Chex even has a bunch of recipes on their website: http://www.chex.com/Recipes/GlutenFree.aspx. I'm glad you are feeling better but I'm sorry this is so tough for you. I'm a starch-o-holic so I would die if I couldn't have gluten.
ReplyDeleteYou can go to allrecipes.com and in the search type "Gluten Free" and it will bring up a whole bunch of recipes without Gluten.
ReplyDeleteI saw "Gluten free" on one of the aisles in macey's. Maybe there's some yummy stuff there.
ReplyDeleteYou and me girl. You and me. (Sorry I passed it on) Love you forever.
ReplyDeleteHey, this is an apple crisp recipe that one of the users (I think second or third comment) altered to be gluten free. Thought of you -
