First of all, let us all take a moment to appreciate the word savant. I worked with a team to develop an entire advertising campaign for an insurance company based on the word. It’s short and sassy, and if you didn’t know what it meant until you quickly googled it, that’s okay. Consider it your word of the day.
Second, my husband’s parents gave me a cricket for graduation. As a lover of all things scrapbooking, I was thrilled. It is officially all setup, and I’ve read through many of the instruction manuals, but I’m going to need some help.
1. I want to put a cute quote on the wall but nothing too cheesy or overdone. (So naturally, I am naturally having no luck coming up with anything). I think something for the bathroom/laundry room or maybe the storage/study/craft room would be cute (or the kitchen...or anywhere...My creative juices are failing me). PLEASE HELP.
2. Any other project ideas to use it for? I know it can do EVERYTHING but I need specifics (Especially on how to use it in the scrapbooking department)
3. Any other tips would be appreciated!
I found one the other day that I really like: "The secret to having it all is knowing you already do."
ReplyDeleteOops - I forgot to say that I think it's perfect around pictures of the family or maybe in the kitchen where everyone gathers.
ReplyDeleteI love it! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThat's funny because I can remember a day a few years ago when I was telling you are Lori about my new cricket and you both gave me blank stares. I'm glad the bug has caught you, no pun intended!
ReplyDeleteA great Mother's Day/ Father's Day/ Birthday/Christmas/...ok I guess any ocassion, idea is to get glass blocks from a craft store, cut out a cute quote or something of that nature on your cricut and put it on the front. Then, you can glue fun pictures on the back facing forward to be the background of the wording. OR...fill the inside of the block with beads or rocks and poke some flowers down to stick out of the top. OR...shove christmas lights down into one leaving the plug sticking out to make a night light. I haven't done the nightlight yet but its on my list of things to do for Harlee's room. All are super cute though!
ReplyDeleteI want one that says "Time doth softly sweetly glide" in my family room by the clock. I keep meaning to do that.
ReplyDeleteMy fav...your last name, then overlay the quote, "Be true to who you are and the family name you bear. -President Hinckley."
