I took a running class in college and really enjoyed it. Here are some things I learned:
-There are 3500 calories in one pound of fat.
-Jogging builds bone density in the hips and spine.
-You burn 100 calories from running 1 mile.
-You can improve your metabolism.
-5 miles on a bike is equal to 1 mile of jogging
Interesting, right? Here are some of my running tips.
-The last 5 minutes are the hardest. Repeat in your mind that you can do ANYTHING for 5 minutes.
-Pick a point/time/mileage that you want to achieve. As soon as you get there, convince yourself that you're not tired and go further.
-Repeat in your mind that you're not tired, and you could run forever.
What are your running/exercising tips?
