Becoming a Baker: Chocolate Chip Cookies

These cookies are so not gluten-free, but I used to eat them all the time.  They are DELISH, so I thought I'd share.  Enjoy!


Chocolate Chip Cookies
2 C. Shortening
1 1/2 C. Brown Sugar
1 1/2 C. Sugar
4 Eggs
5 C. Flour
2 t. Soda
2 t. Salt
2 c. Chocolate Chips
1 t. Vanilla
Mix in order, cream, shortening, sugars, together add eggs and vanilla beat well. Stir in flour, salt, and soda.  add chocolate chips.  Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes.
