Becoming a Gardener

Wow. At least I know how to keep tradition. This is the third year in a row our garden has died. So if I try again next year, am I an optimist or a glutton for punishment? This is ridiculous.

Becoming a Gardener:

Guess what? My garden hasn't died yet! This is progress, people! It's not like the peas and tomatoes have come yet, but the fact that they haven't died is celebration enough for me! How's your garden going?

Remember last year?  Well we refuse to be defeated!  This week we planted peas and tomatoes, and by george, they are not gonna die this time!  What are you planting, and what tips do you have for me?

Becoming a Gardener: Epic Fail

Year two in my efforts to have my own incredible secret garden.  Year two in pots of deadness.  Both times they've been looking great and then we happen to go out of town the week that it's the hottest and they die these sad deaths. 

Any tips for a gardener newbie???  This is just getting sad.
